This exfoliating cloth is hand-woven in Central Mexico from the fibers of the agave plant using a technique that dates back thousands of years. Lather with your favorite soap cube and massage over your skin for gentle exfoliation and skin invigoration.
Ayates are:
- compostable
- long-lasting
- gently exfoliating
- mold + mildew resistant
- a great natural alternative to loofahs
Your ayate will be delivered in its loom state. The weave will tighten and the fibers will soften and expand when wet.
Hang to dry after use.

I have been using agave washcloths for a couple of years. I bought this one because I wanted to support this company. However all 4 corners roll in. It’s difficult to use. I can’t lay it flat to dry.
In the picture on the left is my older one that I have been using for the last few months. The one on the right is from Paca. They are both wet. I haven’t had this issue with an agave washcloth before. I’m not sure if this is a normal issue with the cloths from this brand or if it’s an issue just with mine.

Since incorporating the Ayate into my routine, my skin has been so soft and absorbs the hydration from my soaps and oils. Love!
This washcloth is such a great alternative to a regular plastic loofah. It is a great for exfoliating but not harsh on the skin. I was surprised with how soft it was! Better more sustainable option :)
Exfoliates my skin but somehow doesn’t feel harsh?? I used one for 6 months and just bought another one! Love it.
